My ex-fiance was an avid hater of Ayu and anything Jpop. He loathed her, and how much money I spent on her and how much I loved her. He refused to understand why she meant to much to me. It's not the reason we broke up but I'm so happy we're not together anymore. He would bitch about Ayu to his friends and if they ever came over they would laugh at the posters I had up in my room, one even called her an ugly slut and they all laughed about it.
I'm happy to see other people can share their love of Ayu with their partners/friends though. And thank you for sharing your story Zeke.
