Ok, I'll share my impressions of their third album, After Eden.
After their amazing first two studio albums, especially after Red Moon, which is in my opinion a brilliant album with all its dramatic and theatrical feel and multifaceted style, I was expecting something similar. But I noticed that AE has an overall poppish arrangement and easier feel - which kinda disappointed me. This doesn't mean that I don't find enjoyable songs on the album, but there are a lot of tracks that feel like old Kalafina songs, produced in a more mainstream way. For example, magnolia is super similar to Kyrie and maybe love comes down.
I'm really addicted to Kugatsu and songs like sandpiper, neverending, snow falling, symphonia.
I think we need a new thread
