The problem that I have with the concept is that it felt a bit lacking in execution. The tabloid concept would have been cool, but then it's only used on the cover. We're meant to attach the meaning of the title song to the photos but it feels hollow. Don't even get me started on the twitter mess with "drunk" Timmy over the "totally obvious" meaning... that still feels messy as fuck.
On my end, I think that people who like this album know the concept after it was fed to them and THEN can see the story. Lyrically the album is very solid, but asthetically it fell so short. I don't "see" a theme, but a random photoshoot and ugly leopard print

Hmm maybe flow is not the good word but this album definitely follows a concept from the beginning to the end and is well organised just like a setlist for a live divided by segment of the same style but that's normal this album was done on purpose ! The best example is Rock N Roll Circus ... She released a summer single followed by a winter single and then she decided of the concept for this album ! Result RnRc is really inconsistent and sound like a catch-all...

Now I'm just gonna say it. Rock 'n' Roll Circus is in my humble opinion the weakest album she has ever done. I loved it to pieces when she released it...Hell, it has some great stuff on it. But YAWN... I just don't think about it, the quality sounds really off to me, and it's an awkward album because it really does feel like it is in the dead center of a transition. I still love it in the back of my head, but I've been really thinking about how much...it just hasn't really aged well for me... Party Queen at least had some powerful, dark feelings making it go whereas R'n'R Circus just seems to have no set tone or meaning.

The strength of this album are the album tracks (minus Meaning of love) they are all well produced and interesting yet I can't say the same about the songs from her singles ... Sunrise /sunset for me is probably her weakest to date ! In You were /ballad only the last one brings something and Red line sound too much like a B-side to deserve to be included !
