I keep envisioning this sequence of images.
When FLOWER starts playing, it shows a desolate late with wilted flowers with Ayu in the middle crushing them with her hands. And then the scene cuts to one that is brightly lit with a beautiful array of flowers around Ayu and her band. Ayu wears a short rocker kimono outfit with a traditional Japanese hairdo, all bunned up. As Ayu sings, the flowers start to die away due to certain surreal reasons. In another scene is a white hair-ed ayu, who is wearing a white dress/kimono, a sign of purity and also death (ghostly symbolism).
Somehow Mad World links to this desolate world idea hahaha
it would be so awesome if she portrayed Japanese legends again...like what she attempted to in part of Me.
