I think what is most disppointing is the lyrics and overall message of the song.
To me, it seems it is just about drinking and getting high off weed.
I thought CL wanted to prove that Asian women can be strong and badass just as much as other women. But the subject matter is so weak. Drinking and smoking are such basic and low level things. Not the least bit meaningful and doesn't send a positive message. I know not all songs need to be deep but come on.
But after a few listens now I still love the song and can't wait to see what else she puts out for the album. Just wish the lyrics were stronger.
