I've been listening to a LOT of Galileo Galilei lately, especially their latest (and last) studio album Sea and the Darkness. I'm sort of feeling like I should be sad that they're disbanding just when I've really discovered them, but mostly I'm just happy that they released such a good album before quitting, none of their earlier releases ever appealed to me quite this much. Also, I hope Yuuki Ozaki will keep doing music, I've discovered that I really like his voice.
Also, Haruka to Miyuki's new album is
really good. I found their previous full album kind of a drag and was worried that this one would be the same, but fortunately that wasn't the case at all! The end of the album is a little filler-ish, but most of it is really solid, and they worked in some surprising new sounds again. I'm pretty sure I'll be listening to LOVELESS/ARTLESS quite a lot in the upcoming weeks.
