My heart felt a bit sad reading this- I hoped Ayu had really found someone. But at the same time, when she introduced him and said he was an American medical student, I did worry that at some point he would be going for a career in America and Ayu is probably going to stay more Japan based and I wondered how that would work. The media is going to tear into her for this but sometimes, no matter how much you love someone, the practicalities get in the way and it can't work.
