Kato Shigeaki went on the show, “Meringue no Kimochi” a few days ago, (Aug 27th) and he talked about when Inoo Kei (who’s a regular on the show) was a Johnny’s Junior, he would go to hang out and sleep over often at Shigeaki’s house.

“We were doing a TV show together [Ya-Ya-Yah]. He was so cute back then. We also took baths together. He was in 2nd year of middle school and I was in my 2nd year in high school.” (Kato)

“At the time, I really wanted to take a bath with Kato-kun, and I asked him, he was like, “I’m already a high schooler, I don’t really do that anymore. Go take a bath first.” So I did, and then Kato-kun jumps in with me, naked, and says “It’s lonely, so I’ll also get in.”

If you’re not familiar with Japanese culture, and you’ve got a very English language mind (I don’t know what that means) it might sounds pretty weird when you say “you wanted to take a bath with someone”. But that’s just in English, cause in Japanese it’s a pretty normal thing. Public baths are rather common still in some places in Tokyo, around Asakusa, Oshiage for example. Just in case someone not familiar with Japanese culture reads this, you know…

In Merenge no Kimochi 08/27 Inoochan talked about the Jump and their organization about the presents.

Hisamoto: How about Hey Say Jump? Do you give presents to each other? Inoo: For HSJ, there’s 9 people, there’s a lot of people, so we don’t give for birthday but we exchange Christmas presents

Inoo: We’ve been doing it for about six years.
Shige: What about Inochan? What do you give?
Inoo: For me, I give something that you can make fruit-flavoured soda with, depending on the members pyjamas, pillows, really because there are 9 people there are various things.. On Christmas we do Christmas TV programs right? So backstage, while we sing Christmas songs, we would draw lots and exchange presents.

Hisamoto: Everyone’s close to each other!!
Shige: So every year Chinen gives gift certificates right?
Inoo: Yeah every year he gives gift certs and things like that. This year he gave expensive cheese.
Shige: Expensive cheese? Wha?
Hisamoto: Chinen doesn’t have much sense either maybe huh.. (I like that Hisamoto-san used “mo”, did she imply that Inoo has no sense either?? )
Inoo: That’s true ne.
