First of all, i would like to complain to somebody who required for a leak, I mean to someone who thinks "Initially, I will not buy this double album". You know, the leak will affect to sale for sure, i don't think it's good happen if there's a leak released before the date and somebody shows themselves like "Give it to me now, I want it so bad". There are so many ways to support her when her works launched instantly such as online market or if you would like just previews to make decision, there are so many channels as well, not the whole album leaked. you know what I mean and i can't help if you get me wrong.
For the album, I think it's very creative to separate two sides in album form. She can know which directions her fanclub follow now. According to myself, I like when she put western vibe in her music such as Japonesque or Bon Voyage (by the way, i don't like WOML that much), surely I love Outside more than Inside that there are many songs skipped. However, two albums in two styles are cohesive.
INSIDE : she can be effortless with this part, this is what she's good and accurate. I can see how many say this is not progressive, yes, it's like we are listening to her old-innocent albums like Kingdom or Black Cherry that somebody loves but someone like me not. I think this is good Kumish album, many beautiful songs, but for me it's a bit boring and play-saved. The tracks I pick up are Bridget song, Sukideshite, My fun and my Top5 from Kumi of all time "Kimi Omoi"
OUTSIDE : I click on it, experimental Kumi. I like the artists who never step on their same footsteps and dare to change their images such as Christina Aguilera. From the title track to the last, I rarely have to play forward or skip any song. Its weakness is songs are too similar and lack of original as "Hey, I used to hear it from blah blah blah". Nevertheless, it's great album and better than Walk of my life for me, but Japonesque is still the top. I'm obsessed to Ultraviolet, Insane (love at first sight), W Face, Heartless, Wicked girls and Cupcake.
I was hesitant to attend her concert or not for my Osaka trip, but it's clear now
