Other artistes that I know/support also does mini live performances for their releases (sometimes with and/or without a handshake event that runs co-currently) & yes you're right Kaled , you don't need tickets to watch it
Especially if the venue is open air and/or inside a shopping centre . You can just be a bystander and watch it casually from afar
But if you want to be in the front row , then you have to come early to queue up to get a priority ticket to be way out in the front
I think if Kuu were to do handshake events , it would help her sales . Those artistes that I know , they do that because they don't do a lot (in some cases do not do) of TV promo so this's 1 way of offsetting things
My friend told me a while ago that she knew of someone who bought 200 copies of an artiste's single in total and at that time , the handshake/mini live events were quite a lot so you can imagine
So essentially that person shook the artiste's hand 200 times

. My friend wasn't spared either (be it handshake/mini live events for an album + single) , LOL
I think single is still OK but wow buying so many copies of an album just to shake the artiste's hands numerous times , that's hardcore
