The random performances are not as easy to come across as you think they are. Plus i don't keep a list of performances that are purely unedited just laying around somewhere. I had to even dig for the MA one a bit before i finally found a working link.

This is true.
It is purely a myth that Ayu's performances are edited with some sort of magic program or filter or processing. Yes there are technologies that allow you to manipulate vocals but they always leave behind some kind of evidence. Just like some of Ayu's past releases that have a robotic sound. They definitely did not have anything like that many years ago back when Ayu was a new artist. A performance from years ago will most likely be very minimally edited.
The reason that the 1st broadcast of Ayu's tours sound different compared to the re-edit and final DVD release is a few possibilities. There is only so much that can be done.
That being said, mixing plays a huge role in live recordings. After the first broadcast they are able to fine tune the mixing to make both the vocals and music sound better. It can really make a difference. The kanariya performance is a great example. It sounded much better after they reduced the distortion on her vocals.
The final DVD release may have additional mixing done if needed. They also may scrap certain vocal performances completely. Replacing them with vocals from another day that sound better or have the artist go into the studio to record a live performance of the song. They do what they can to then make the lips in sync.
They can also manipulate the vocals with pitch correction and things like that but it usually introduces artifacts or has very obvious robotic vocals.
Ayu's vocals for the most part, are what they are. Even edited vocals are not SO edited to where they aren't real anymore.
None of us truly know the facts of what goes on behind the scenes with Ayu's live performances.
