And her voice just got hoarser with every tour she was having till about 2006 when her vocal cords were destroyed and she started sounding choppy (although not as bad as her voice after AT 2008).
The biggest change that's happened to her voice/technique in recent years would have to be her PoM vocals. I know she consulted with her old voice coach before the tour started but man, her "ahhh"s and "ehhh"s have just been sounding weird since then, especially if the key's low.
