Kinki Kids' Domoto Tsuyoshi Hospitalised For Sudden Deafness

Kinki Kids member Domoto Tsuyoshi has been hospitalised for a week after experiencing sudden deafness.
Kinki Kids was supposed to make an appearance on TV Tokyo's "Ongakusai 2017" broadcast on June 28. Tsuyoshi was not present for the recording.
Group mate Domoto Koichi explained that Tsuyoshi has experienced hearing loss and will be staying in the hospital for a week.
According to the group's office, Tsuyoshi began complaining of dizziness and difficulty hearing out of his left ear on June 27. A medical examination found that he had sudden sensorineural hearing loss, a condition characterised by an unexplained, rapid loss of hearing either all at once or over the course of several days.
Tsuyoshi's condition does not necessarily indicate that permanent hearing loss will occur; however, in severe case, permanent deafness is a possibility.
