Kinki Kids' Domoto Tsuyoshi Released From Hospital

Kinki Kids member Domoto Tsuyoshi was released from the hospital on July 4, Johnny's Entertainment stated.

Tsuyoshi had been hospitalised on June 27 for sudden sensorineural hearing loss, a condition charactersed by an unexplained, rapid loss of hearing either all at once or over the course of several days.

Although he is leaving the hospital, Tsuyoshi has not made a full recovery. He will continue treatment for the condition for an undetermined amount of time.

Kinki Kids is celebrating its 20th anniversary; Tsuyoshi has been forced his celebratory activities on hold as he continues battling his sudden hearing loss.

Tsuyoshi's condition does not necessarily indicate that permanent hearing loss will occur; however, in severe case, permanent deafness is a possibility.
