I made things simple in that I decided to only choose the single songs . Despite this , it still wasn't an easy decision for me to make .
Likewise even if I focused only on 3 album tracks , it will be the same dilemma I will get myself into , only a lot more worst since this aspect outweights the signle song D:
Reasons on why I chose SUMMER PARTY , Hikari & REAL LOVE 2010
SUMMER PARTY
I said it so many times but this's the song that started it all for me when I was watching cable TV aimlessly 1 day & I saw the PV being played non stop .
At that time I didn't know who BREAKERZ were (didn't even know individually they were in the business for quite sometime before they were formed) but needless to say , the rest's history & after finding out the story inspiration behind the song , up to now I still don't know if I should laugh or cry over it x)
From 2008 until now , I never get sick of hearing SUMMER PARTY as up to now this's considered 1 of the guys' signature songs , whether you're a super or casual fan . I probably must have listened to it over 1,000 times & I'm still never bored of it
Hikari
Before K S K , Hikari was 1 song that was 1 of most personal to DAIGO as he wrote/composed it when the guys performed at Nippon Budokan for the 1st time during BREAKERZ LIVE 2009 "WISH" in Nippon Budokan .
And watching them performed Hikari , DAIGO was really emotional onstage as almost every musician wants to perform in Nippon Budokan given the symbolic meaning of the venue & the guys finally had turned that dream into reality .
REAL LOVE 2010
I did not get into the guys' fandom due to their most controversial song in their discography but I remembered watching them perform REAL LOVE for the 1st time onstage during SPECIAL SUMMER PARTY at SHIBUYA-AX which left me stunned .
And I know the guys wanted to release REAL LOVE as a single in the beginning of their early days but ZAIN RECORDS / Being not suprisingly said no & they only give the guys the OK in 2010 .
Nowadays I don't listen to REAL LOVE that much unlike REAL LOVE 2010 but you must admit , it takes a lot of guts for them to do something so extreme & explicit like this and as terrible as it sounds , the entire PV & outfits concept for REAL LOVE 2010 is just awesome & this's fans' service at its maximum controversial best x)
Not the 1st song I would recommend to a new fan for obvious reasons haha
