Domoto Tsuyoshi's Condition Forces KinKi Kids To Cancel September Concert
KinKi Kids announced today that it has cancelled its September 1 concert in Kyoto.
The reason for the cancellation was group member Domoto Tsuyoshi's continued struggles with hearing loss.
"[Domoto Tsuyoshi] has not recovered in time for us to hold [the concert], so we had no choice but to cancel the concert," an announcement on the group's website said.
Refunds to people who had already purchased tickets will be made. There was no mention of rescheduling the concert for a later date.
Tsuyoshi was hospitalised in June after experiencing sudden deafness. Although he has since been released from the hospital, the idol continues to experience difficulties associated with the condition.
