Feb/March is a good time to go Japan actually. Flights are usually dirt cheap in February. And March is cherry blossom season. I do find it odd that it's a dome tour starting in February, but she's not retiring until September.....there aren't that many domes to go around and fill up all that time. lol.

Yeah, Namie's shows were always in demand even before this. I'm in the fanclub and twice got denied tickets and instead had to get them through Yahoo Auctions while I was living over there. I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed and may even just have to bite the bullet and apply for Sapporo or something just in case.

Other than second hand, yes. Namie's shows are so in demand that there usually aren't any tickets leftover for sale after the fanclub gets first dibs in my experience. Some artists you can get them through convenience stores etc., without being in the fanclub first, but that is only for less in demand artists.
The only option for Namie is either second hand or resale shops or Yahoo Auctions (but you would need someone in Japan to do that for you or a hire a service to do it)
