I'm still curious why she decided to resing her recent songs
I couldn't tell any major difference in Funky Town, and I dont think it's necessary IMO. But nevertheless, I still appreciate she did something unusual for her songs though, it will be plain boring if she just packed her songs into a best album.
Off topic though, but one of my fav singer hitomi did a self cover in her past best album, where she sang with her older self, ex:
verse1 old vocal
verse2 new vocal
chorus old+new vocal
etc. I think it will be a great idea if Namie did the same way too
