Also, I think Japan usually start selling releases a day early right? So we could potentially have the album within the next 24 hours! Really excited to see what her first day and first week sales will be like with all this promo and exposure she's been having.

I just realized how much I love Christmas Wish, and how we won't get another one of these songs.

I sometimes hate when an artist goes out on a high note, but I'm also so glad that Namie has had the last 20+ years as a career. Namie did the unthinkable in Japan's music culture: She became a huge star twice. How she managed to completely reinvent her career and come back as the most popular solo female artist for a second run, I have no clue. But she managed it. And that's a pretty damn good note to go out on.
