It's not about being older and do fun stuff. It's about trying to catch a much younger audience. It doesn't feel right, imho, from the point of view of a fan who has being cheering on her evolution as an artist whose music has been slowly, but increasingly, becoming more mature. We can tell which kind of music sounds mature and which doesn't. Nega Dola doesn't sound mature and I'm a bit sad about it. But, as I said, just a bit, cause I loved from the first listen and I love the MV cause it's refreshing for her image (even though it's not new for kpop).

I confess that I have this odd feeling that BoA should be leading kpop revolution, like, "soundwise"? Haha instead of following trends. But realistically I know she has to follow trends, not only to keep herself relevant, but more importantly: to keep herself profitable.

(just to go back on the "one can be older and still be fun" matter: lookbook sounds both mature and fun imho)
