I think we're mostly bothered with how you've got all these perfectly vague defenses for every criticism of Ayu, but Namie is like this untouchable screw up who you have some unique insight into because of her answer to an interview question that you took out of context.
Might be just me, but like, we've all watched people come onto AHS and try to argue that the Milky Way is held together by their favorite singer. And then just walk away saying, "Well, you're not going to change my opinion that blue candles can blow themselves out because Ayu did it in the momentum PV." It's really typical stan stuff. (Hell, I've done this myself.)
I think we all made really reasonable points to you about Namie being a performer and artist in her own right. Maybe you just weren't much of a fan in the first place, and your interpretation of her answer to that interview question made you throw down your Cinnamon Toast Crunch and race to your computer to delete all your Namie MP3s? It's just a bit overblown. And maybe we should have just ignored it.
And to be fair, when you post long rants about how you've fallen out over an artist
in that artist's thread, you're putting up a billboard advertisement for people to respond to... otherwise, you would've kept it to yourself, you know?
But we can drop it. I would just keep in mind that until a thread is actually locked or the
other people stop responding, you should really not be the one asking for the conversation to be over. Because, again, we didn't bring this topic up for discussion.
