Hi guys! Sorry my review came late and she's already halfway in Fukuoka LOL! So here goes! I will try to type as much as I can because it's been one week since i watched her.
There was an MASSIVE crowd in the whole Nagoya Dome area it's insane. Theres no way I was able to queue for the goods because there's probably thousands already in the queue. The concert begun fairly on time and the dome filled up really nicely by then.
Most of the details were covered by @Shukumi above already so I'll just talk about my what extra stuff i heard/saw/felt.
Spoiler:
INTRO:
As mentioned, it was very VERY olympics themed for the intro with the 2 runners.
01 Hero:
To be frank, it was a little underwhelming for me. Just too mellow compared to a fierce entry but Namie was stunning and her vocals were so on point. The ending saw the dancers carrying flags and it was a very powerful scene along with the music.
02 Hide & Seek
I was joking to my friend right before the concert that she dancers could totally march in with flags for this song AS THE OPENING. and wow when this song played, we just went WHOAAAAA!!!! Spot-on imagery haha! She sang this while still in that dress, which made me went a bit HMMMMMM
03 Do Me More
This was a song that worked so well live. The visuals on the the screen was a music box/merry-go-round. It was very BEST FICTION indeed and towards the end go the song, it kinda underwent a little remix. There was a lot of beat and bass and the whole song became so much more alive and the visuals also complemented this with even more fantasy elements being put up. Here she took off the red dress and changed into a blue, sparkling pant-top outfit.
04 Mint
I think there were red and blue lasers all over the place with this song. It was performed on the run way and very visually stunning. Not a big fan of the song but it generated quite an atmosphere with the rock-ish music.
05 Baby Don't Cry
She opened the new section with this song but before this, there was the interlude fireball movie which made me think it was leading into another dance track but then she came up with this on the left side of the stage. I love the song but LOL, it was such a mismatch with the interlude movie.
06 GIRL TALK / 07 NEW LOOK
There was an actual cityskyline prop that rose from beneath the stage and this was basically Namie's cute section.
08 WHAT A FEELING
HYPE HYPE HYPE!! It was so amazing but no one danced and jumped along LOL. Visually a very stunning performance and I'm so glad she did this (sadly ROCK STEADY GOT LEFT OUT)
09 Showtime
Like what @Shukumi said, the crowd was SO HYPED for this song. I think this is THE song for the Finally era. You can really tell how much love this song has received in Japan when people even cosplayed her white-red jumpsuit look (and when I mean people, I mean even guys). So much that my friend thought it was a tour merchandise. She was wearing the tube dress for this.
10 Just You and I
The sudden inclusion of this song again breaks the flow a lot! But I get that she needs her rest song in between dance tracks. No feathers in this performance unlike Fukuoka.
11 Break It
I knew she was gonna sing this song considering how many remixes this song has received! It was really energetic.
12 Say the word
YAS! Too bad it was the Love Enhanced remix and not the original. I remember she really danced a lot for this song and there was a lot more choreo being performed compared to other tracks so I really appreciated that!
13 Love Story
Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful.
14 SWEET 19 BLUES
The visuals on the screens were brown window panes, and the lighting was also warm. It created a very very nostalgic atmosphere in the arena. Very apt for the song.
15 TRY ME ~私をしんじて~ / 16 太陽のSEASON / 17 You're my sunshine
She came back in a yellow dress and the whole parapara eurobeat throwback was quite a nice welcome especially for those who didnt see the Okinawa 25th Anniversary Special. I think many many old fans were hyped and when I mean old fans, I do mean people in their 40s.
18 Get Myself Back
Soothing change and the visuals were changed to a very tropical island vibe. Lots of drone shots of beautiful blue seas and sandy beaches.
19 a walk in the park
SHE USED THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY DOME SCREEN HERE TOO!! Everyone screamed when she did the same foreheadcombback action in the first 2 lines of the song. All 3 screens showed it at the same time. and this time, when the Concentration 20 Namie ran right, the 5 Domes Namie ran left, the live Namie ran down the catwalk. Loved the concept so much and its so brilliant to use it again.
20 Don't wanna cry
I can't remember much for this song :X
21 NEVER END
This was one of the better performances for me! The visual was a very sparkly and mystical waterfall and as the song progressed, it became more and more glitzy and the whole stage was so magical and beautiful. The stage also has these long bar screnes which went up and down and they titled into a zigzag formation and portrayed flowing water whenever she sang the chorus.
22 CAN YOU CELEBRATE?
Then for this song, she sang it in a white dress. The visuals showed a beautiful wedding-like garden. Strong vocals as usual.
23 Body Feels EXIT/ 24 Chase the Chance
These were sung in a white/silver outfit. In Chase the Chance, they used the "a walk in the park" concept as well and a younger Namie appeared on the screen but just for a little while.
25 Fighter / 26 In Two / 27 Do It For Love
Wow this woman really belted out these songs like a boss. I think it was INSANE of her to put Fighter and In Two right before Do It For Love but omg I was speechless after everything.
-ENCORE-
28 Hope
She officially became part of the ONE PIECE gang! It was quite amazing to see the scenes where the ONE PIECE characters hung out with her and also said goodbye.
29 Finally
No pre-warning for this song. It just continued from Hope after brief darkness. It felt like a normal song, which shouldnt have been the case. She didn't cry but it was amazing being able to hear this live. She vocals were stunning. The screens were displaying some weird plant visuals just growing and growing. I wished they showed more of Namie's past as she sang this.
30 How do you feel now
Yea, like everyone, I felt the same when she had the balls to sing this song after Finally. NAMIE WHY!!! It ended on a positive note though, I guess thats what she wanted and it did.
