Spoiler:
OPENING
Olympic-themed opening video with CGI runners carrying a torch. One Red Runner and One Blue Runner. Once the CGI Movie ends, 2 real runners (in costumes similar to the CGI runners) appear on opposite sides of the stage, and they run towards and down the catwalk. They combine their torches to send one giant flame flying onto the center-top of the stage.
HERO
I was SHAKING when she appeared. SHE LOOKED ETHEREAL. SHE SOUNDED AMAZING. She's alone on stage for most of the song. And then towards the end her dancers start coming out onto the stage with huge red flags. Which of course leads into…
HIDE&SEEK!
I don't think people expected this song to be next after Hero, because people around me loudly GASPED in excitement when they heard that iconic intro start to play. All the girls around me kept saying "SO COOL!!!" throughout the performance.
DO ME MORE
THIS WAS THE SONG I WAS SO EXCITED FOR HER TO SING. IT WAS EVERYTHING. The drop after UN DEUX TROIS was when my soul left my body. The stage lights and everything during this song was beautiful. The CGI backdrop for this song was a kind of carousel/music box. I think it was during this song where they also kind of overlayed a dreamy-cloud filter onto the screen so she looked EXTRA MYSTICAL. When it got to the bridge, she STRUTTED down the catwalk. I lost my BREATH. In that moment, I saw the super sexy/fierce Namie from the BEST FICTION era / VIDAL SASSOON DO ME MORE CM. It was everything.
MINT
She stayed on the catwalk stage to perform this song. Although I LOVE this song, I thought it was a little boring to watch during the previous LS'16-17 Tour. Maybe cause the stage was so small during that tour. But it was GREAT here! And funnily, not a single hint of the color mint was used during this performance lmao. It stayed RED all the wayyyyyy. The ending instrumental was extended to give her time to walk back to the main stage lol
INTERLUDE MOVIE
A kind of sepia toned aerial view of the Earth. A flying ball of light/fire flies throughout. This ball of light/fire will be flying through all the interlude movies basically lol.
BABY DON'T CRY / GIRL TALK / NEW LOOK
Great performances throughout these songs. I can't remember the backdrop for BDC but GIRL TALK had a very fun and colorful kind of tropical/candy theme going on. And NEW LOOK had a daytime city backdrop, which switched to night time during WAF.
WHAT A FEELING
I was sort of praying she would bring back the LS'11 Remix for WAF, or something similar, but she didn't. But it's okay because THIS PERFORMANCE WAS AMAZING ANYWAYS. LOVEDDDD all the lighting and effects and the backdrop and just everythinggggg that was going on during this song!! I was so hype and I hope when they film it they do it justice because it was honestly a highlight of the night for me.
DANCER INTRODUCTION: GIRLS
SHOWTIME
To be honest, the crowd was pretty tame during all the songs so far but they were EXTRA HYPED during this song. Namie seemed to be having a lot of fun too.
JUST YOU&I
She sang this on the catwalk stage. Towards the end during the ~climax~ of the song, feathers shoot out towards the audience.
BREAK IT
Okay I forgot Break It comes after JY&I so I was super startled when it played lmaoo. I was expecting another ballad or something so I was nottttt readyyy lmao
SAY THE WORD
I can't really remember anything memorable about this one.
LOVE STORY
Hearing this live was great. I loved it.
SWEET 19 BLUES
OKAY. So like, throughout the entire night so far, I think there was something wrong with her right earpiece. Cause she kept fiddling with it and adjusting it quuiiiiiite often during every song and it was def noticeable. I think the problem peaked during S19B because towards the end she kind of went offkey real quick during a vocal run and then she like skipped a line after. I feel like she was def lowkey annoyed lmao. There were other moments so far during the concert where I noticed she would go slightly offkey too but this moment during this S19B performance stood out to me the most. She sounded great otherwise though lol.
TRY ME / 太陽のSEASON / You're My Sunshine
Nothing to note. She sounded great. I loved TRY ME but I don't really care for the other 2 so I was just kind of zoning in and out lmao. I think she managed to get her earpiece fixed or she switched it out for another one somewhere during these songs or during her costume change because she stopped fiddling with her earpiece for pretty much the rest of the show.
GET MYSELF BACK
She sounded great and I loved singing the "OHHH OHHH OHHH OHHHHHH" with her and everyone towards the end lol.
A WALK IN THE PARK
I think it was during this song that on the big screens, there was the footage of her performing this song during the CONCENTRATION 20 Tour, the 20th Anniversary Tour, and of course live from this tour. It was neat to see.
DON'T WANNA CRY
There was a moment where she was REALLY feeling herself and she was GETTING HER GROOVE ONNNNNN. I loved it lmao.
NEVER END
I don't really care for this song so it felt like this song trulyyyyyyyy would neverrrrr enddddd cause it was LONG. Lmao
CAN YOU CELEBRATE
No special interlude movie before this song as she's changing into the white dress. I think I remember it was just an extended ending instrumental of NEVER END instead. Anyways, she looked GREAT. And when she did her little smile and curtsy after singing the intro, everyone went crazy.
BODY FEELS EXIT / CHASE THE CHANCE / FIGHTER / IN TWO
I think by this point in the concert she was kind of sick of all the ballads and slower songs because she lit up and was on FIRE once this dance-oriented section began lmao. During Chase The Chance, she did the same long ass run across the main stage as she did last time during the 20th Anniversary Tour lol. In fact, on one side of the stage there was footage of her running from the 20th Anniversary Tour and on the other side of the stage, live footage of her running was shown. So it looked like the 2 (tonight's Namie and 20th Anniversary Namie) were running towards each other. When she got to the other side, the footage switched sides as well. She ran back and forth across both sides of the main stage and then also ran onto the catwalk stage so she was definitelyyyy out of breath for a bit lmaooo.
I forgot where the DANCER INTRODUCTION for the guys was (I think before or after IN TWO??)…but I definitelyyyyy remember being annoyed once it dawned on me that they used a bit of the instrumental for SUPERNATURAL LOVE in the background music and yet the song is NO WHERE TO BE FOUND ON THE SETLIST. When it clicked in my head, I expected SL to be sung next as if it was a surprise addition to the concert but NOPE. #RUDE lol
DO IT FOR LOVE
Towards the end of this song, a giant light-sign-stage (kind of similar to the GENIC sign that rises up from the ground during EVERY WOMAN in the LIVEGENIC Tour) rises up that says "25: THANK YOU. I <3 FAN". The song ends with really powerful firework blasts.
HOPE
Special One Piece Movie Introduction, with all the characters from the anime talking about Namie. Then, Namie appears. Throughout the song, the special One Piece animation with the animated Namie in it plays. I think this song was when the balloons dropped? Can't remember exactly.
FINALLY
I CRIED. AND I THINK SHE CRIED TOO. I COULDN'T REALLY TELL BECAUSE ON THE SCREEN THEY PUT A VIGNETTE AROUND HER LIKE SHE WAS ALREADY A DISTANT MEMORY LOL. BUT HER VOCALS WERE ON POINTTTTTT EVEN IF SHE WAS CRYING CAUSE THEY WERE HELLAAAAAAA POWERFUL.
HOW DO YOU FEEL NOW
Okay, I lowkey was mad at her for making me cry during Finally and then literally 2 seconds after that song ended she picks up with this song lmao. #RUDE
The concert ended with her and her dancers bowing as usual. She did a little jiggle dance that was super cute lol. Her dancers left while she remained on stage. She grabbed a quick sip of her drink and then did an MC. She bowed, blew a kiss and then left for real.
There's some other interludes I skipped over but I can't remember where they are at the moment lol. They all had the same concept as the first interlude though, with the light/fire ball flying around.
One thing about her encore outfit is that I think she's adding the venue patches as she goes. During Nagoya, she only had the Nagoya patch I think and tonight she had both the Nagoya and Fukuoka patches. So probably by the finale her shirt will have all the patches on it lol
