The GIFT is the only track from A ONE I ever skip, and not always I skip it. A ONE is a solid album for me and every track is unique even if their instrumentals weren't new into her career. But I do think she paid a lot of attention to the atmosphere of the songs and the feelings she wanted to convey. I just LOVE when music makes me feel stuff, and A ONE is full of that to me. Of course being catchy is also good for a pop song, but if I get no emotions from the song I'll grow over it soon. Be it boldness, power, love, devotion, loss, sadness, loneliness... I just love feeling stuff
