Man, I feel like I live in opposite land. I was really disappointed in my listen through, although I honestly wasn't expecting much. I liked AND although it's a meh compared to W FACE, WoML and Bon Voyage, which I have loved since her hiatus. (BV really had to grow on me though) DNA sounds like a bunch of leftover demos and the sudden ballads completely ruin the flow for me
I'll give it a few more listens though because I still like that style, but right now I'm meh about it.
It's kinda funny, I see a lot of people online complaining about her style the past few years because it's way more westernized (a lot of people compare it to kpop, lol) and saying that it's so flat beause of it. But I never really agreed with that until DNA, when I had a moment where I thought a lot of the songs were lots of sounds, but no substance.
MEEEHHH I'll probably be obsessed with it by the end of September!
