^other than coming from a small company (which is more and more frequently used as an extra to emphase their achievements) I reayll don't see anything more "special" or "hard working" than most other idol groups out there. Yes, their music is good here and there but i really have a hard time understanding their success. It's seems to be more like a momentum they have going on (and yes, i hope it last a while for them) but there are plenty of other groups that deserve a similar treatment - maybe even more so.
BTS more and more becomes a standard for k-pop for many foreign fans (similar, but a bit wider) to what PSY had going on - and t feels very one-dimensional which i find rather frustrating to see than being happy about kids in my country sporting BTS shirts, knowing that they don't understand a thing about kpop but just care for their looks or just hopping on a bandwagon of what is "cool".
