Okada Junichi & Miyazaki Aoi welcome their first child

V6's Okada Junichi (37) and actress Miyazaki Aoi (32) have welcomed their first child together.
In a joint statement, the couple announced, "We have an announcement for everyone. Our first child, a baby boy, was born healthily the other day. Both mother and baby are doing well. When we heard his first cry, we felt his strength to live and the dignity of the start of life. We are grateful for this miracle that has been born to us as well as to everyone who have supported us."
They continued, "As a father and mother, we are responsible for our beloved child's life. We will do our best to raise him carefully. It would make us happy if you would watch over us warmly. Please continue to support us."
Okada and Miyazaki tied the knot on December 23 of last year. Then on May 19, they announced that Miyazaki was pregnant with their first child.
