Well the EGG fandom was way before you joined. When you google Ayumi Hamasaki EGG, the thread date is 2005. I have been a fan of ayu over 18 years. I got some even crazier rumor / Tabloids of her.
For example: when she filmed SURREAL in Hawaii, there was a rumor that she got kicked out by the US government. Well it was because avex did not get enough permission / documents to film SURREAL in Hawaii and she needed to stay in the custom. Then the tabloids says she got kicked out of the US and she claimed that she was too ugly to be in the US.
Another Tabloids was when she did a performance in Hong Kong and got pissed off and pushed other artists away.
