I understand that ayu is a human, but she is also a brand. That’s what it comes down to at the end of the day - she herself admitted this at one time.
Imagine if a brand just stopped pushing out what was once their bread and butter, in favor of something else in the brand lineup without so much as an announcement about their refocus. It would be unheard of.
I don’t think it’s far off for fans to wish for this to be addressed. Fans merely want to know how they should interpret her as a brand and what they should and shouldn’t anticipate. It can be frustrating to not know whether or not your expectations are legitimate. There’s a lot of confusion that needs to be addressed, and it’s hurting the brand to avoid doing so.
