It’s not old school. It’s common sense, especially in the western world. It’s frowned upon for bosses to date subordinates because: 1.) they’re paying them 2). It’s a conflict of interest 3). It looks bad to other employees because it appears the boss is playing favorites when they actually are. Whether it’s intentional or not 4). Someone ALWAYS gets hurt. Whether it’s the boss, that employee they’re dating, another employee(s), boss/employee’s family, etc. 5). It’s bad for business. Not only is the boss and employee distracted, but it hurts both of their job performances and leads to bad business.
Also a 20 year old here state side is seen as immature to be married and have children because typically they are. I won’t even get into it all since this is all waaay off topic. Yes Ayu can do whatever she wants and I’m totally cool with that. I don’t even care if she dates an employee. I however wanted to point that misconception out about dating bosses. I know from personal experience
