She released earlier this year her album "Sandokushi". I read some people complaining about the disc "lacking" something, but I really enjoyed all the songs, with no exception. I listen to it until now very often.
The mixing of the album (like "Hi Izuru Tokoro") emphasizes the treble a little too much and, sometimes, could result a very noisy sound, but I think it fits very well with the purpose of the songs presented on the record. They are arranged in a very sophisticated way, using jazz, rock and electronica, all of them being classic elements from her discography, but in a contemporary way, which I like very much.
What do you people think of it?
