I don't remember if this was discussed before, so forgive me if it has, but since I first saw the LOVEppears cover years ago, it always reminded me of Madonna's Like a Prayer album cover. I even had both albums on top of each other on display on my shelf for a long time.
I always thought maybe LOVEppears was Ayu trying to contribute the "upper half" to make the picture "complete".
