Well, fun fact: The Japanese caption in the beginning actually only says the guy is "believed to be the head of Koda Gumi", so you can interpret Kuu being the real boss. 
And as usual she is depicted as the one in power, one of the main points of her ero-kakkoii/sexy image.
Which makes it even better with her mafia play, as those are almost exclusively male.
And another fun fact:
Kuu took it from her staff and uses "kumi chou" as her print for her own tour/festival shirts (or also the English translation "boss" sometimes instead).

I think that fundamental attitude of 'woman in power' combined with the confident sexy look is what's always attracted me to Kuu.
