Drama '99.9 Keiji Senmon Bengoshi' to get movie adaptation
It's been announced that TBS drama '99.9 Keiji Senmon Bengoshi' ('99.9 Criminal Lawyer') will be getting a movie adaptation this winter.
The popular drama aired its first season in 2016 followed by its second season in 2018, pulling in average viewer ratings of 17.2％ and 17.6％ respectively. Matsumoto Jun and Kagawa Teruyuki will reprise their roles of lawyers Miyama Hiroto and Sada Atsuhiro.
A new visual for the movie hints at a new female lead. Eikura Nana was the heroine of the first season, and Kimura Fumino took over the second season.
