Likely just an incorrect translation. Anaphylactic shock is a severe allergic reaction, not a disease - so they are just saying that since this is new for her she got educated on what to do in those situations. As mentioned, she might have been allergic to a medication she got for the ankle. OR it is possible to develop new allergies after having had a baby. The good news is is that those allergies are usually temporary and start subsiding once you are a certain number of months postpartum (sometimes longer).
