I'll apologize in advance for bumping this wicked old thread, but I am putting together a playlist of b-sides and 'b-sides' and would like some input. I once played with the idea of A B-Sides (after A Best and A Ballads, the latter of which had just been released) and designed a cover for it and all (thread is here; the concept cover I made no longer shows, I'll try to dig it up - it used a photo from a then-recent shoot, I think) but back then there wasn't much.

So what's new?

For the purposes of my playlist I include:

- True b-sides: tracks only found as b-sides on a single and not on any regular album (comps excluded)
- Non-album tracks: tracks only found on a comp or other non-album release
- Singles that were not featured on any album

What I don't include:
- C/W tracks, the b-sides of singles that were also featured on a regular album
- Remixes
- Tracks of which only a live performance exists
- Recently released single tracks that may still appear on an album
- Hidden tracks on albums

Following this definition, my playlist so far includes:

Two of us, ever free, theme of a-nation '03, 卒業写真, Mirrorcle World, LIFE

The version of a song is born with Keiko I am also considering including, as well as Endless Sorrow. Since these concern only different versions though I am a bit on the fence about it.

I'm not looking for a discussion on what constitutes a b-side (I know; I follow my own guidelines anyway) but since I'm not yet familiar enough with some later releases (working on it!) I appreciate any help with those.

THANKS!
