I think it changed drastically after Promised Land. Was it the babies, Timmy leaving or COVID, which made her stop doing her job for awhile and maybe she got a taste of life off-stage, but she really is giving a totally different vibe than couple of years ago. I think she use to do everything for her fans but I think that changed after she became a mother. We are not her babies anymore since she got her own family. I'm not saying this bad way, I love that for her. Nothing lasts forever and as she said i M "beginnings comes randomly yet endings have a reason" or something like that

It's hard to let go and accept the reality
You make a good point here.
Maybe she is trying to recreate the passion she once had for her job and creating things but is failing to do so and is getting frustrated with it.
If she wants to take more time to be with her family and wants to do things that make the most money for her and her family like touring and such that's pretty understandable to me.

I would rather her just do what she wants and feels is right for her and her family, instead of trying to force something that just isn't working. I also would rather have no new music than uninspired, lackluster new music if that is what the result winds up being.

I think I've lowered any expectations for this album after hearing about how creating it doesn't seem to be coming naturally for her.
