Hitomi
Princess of J-Pop, whoose name translates as "Beautiful Eyes". Basically, a Japanese J-Lo for aspirational 15-year-old Shibuya mallrats. And something else entierly for their dads.

Glay
Kings of the Japanese "Visual" scene, think Duran Duran meets Sigue Sigue Sputnik. The Glay boys woo Japanese Teens with their good looks, their poetic lyrics... and a harpsicord.

Ayumi Hamasaki
Bigger than Godzilla in her native land. Imagine Britney, Kylie and Beyonce in one cute package and multiply their combined earnings by 10. No, seriously.

Takanori Nishikawa
A god in Japan. His songs are all the widdly-widdly pomp-rock that accompanies Manga cartoons and episodes of "She-Ra". Probably. He's also a famous actor now.

Mr Children
A cute and cuddly indie-rock and who Make Brand new sound like Deicide. That name won't exactly help them spread their fame to the peadophile-obsessed Western world.
