Definitely!! Ayu is my favorite singer, and even if she may be replaced (::gasp:
by someone else, I'll remember her as having a huge influence on me musically
My mom still talks about singers she liked (and still likes) when she was my age and younger, so I doubt that Ayu will fade away from my heart <3
And the part about elderly people is so true...where I work during the summer they play oldies music at the assisted living facility all the time because the elderly remember and hold dear to their hearts those singers and bands! They play songs from as far back as the 1920s. I never hear any recent music played for them (like Britney Spears haha)
