Yes they do. Oricon actually has a separate section which charts online sales. If they bothered to do that then why wouldn't they include it in their general chart?
and guys, christmas is a GREAT time to release an album...she (or rather avex) didn't pick a bad time at all, it's just that every record company knows that's when records sell and therefore they all choose to release at this particular period.
Anywho, Kinki kid's single collection has dropped to 3rd in the daily rankings, so Ayu can keep the no.2 spot for quite some weeks to come.
