title:
ever-changing image pushes the sales of new album to new heights
ayumi hamasaki trapped in a plastic box for a scary effect

text:
the sales of the japanese pop queen ayumi hamasaki's new album 'my story' has already sailed past 600,000 copies in the first week, meaning ayu has 10 number 1 albums already. in the past, only ???, matsuda seiko, nakamori akina and nakajima miyuki has achieved this feat, making her the fifth singer to make this achievement.

ayu has squeezed her brain dry in the preparation for the new album. apart from the fact that the album contains many hit singles, the special edition cd comes with a dvd, containing the pv & the making of 'moments', 'inspire', 'game' and 'carols'. ayu also especially made 3 more pvs in order to thank fans for their support, so that she is consistent with her goal of making her products the best value for money. it is not surprising that she has described her album to be the christmas' and new year's treasure, hard selling her new album as a suitable gift for oneself and for others.

in recent years, ayu's images in her albums are usually elegant, sexy or rock. the 3 new pvs are also of no exception. firstly, in 'about you' ,ayu is dressed like a noble woman being trapped in a plastic box, the concept is similar to the scary movie 'Three 2 --- (?) box cremation'. for the sexy side, 'walking proud' is divided into reality and future. ayu lies on the bed with her body sprayed with sparkling powders, making the scenes very attractive to look at. for the rck video 'humming 7/4', ayu and her bandmates are in a giant steel frame, singing and dancing til they drop.
