Well not talking about ayu but JPOP by itself, I was thinking one of these days about some songs from my native language and whenever they mix Portuguese lyrics with english words, it gets pathetical and hilarious. It's usually used to compose parody songs....And songs that actually try to be serious by doing such things ends up turning kinda pthetical in my opinion. I guess the reason is because I can understand both languages. In japanes music the ENGLISH/ENGRISH is already so much incorporated that it ended up turning into something kinda attractive at times. I guess the main reason is I can't really understand japanese and the english parts help me understand a little of what the song has been talking about. As I'm pretty used to listening to many japanese artists mixing languages, when ayu does it, it doesn't really bother me that much, though I still prefer when she sings the whole lyrics in japanese or just say small words or little phrases in english here and there.
