"Sexiness" aside, the cover just looks cheap and fake. The wig is awful, the background is too plain but at the same time tacky...nothing looks natural. The whole cover looks tacky in my opinion.

IMO she has had covers that are just as "sexy", if not more so in the past.
And I think that the reason for the look of the cover is that judging by the pics and what we've heard of "Step You" so far, it looks like she is going for an 80s glam rock kind of feel. "Step You" gives me a bit of an 80s party rock kind of vibe for some reason. And the title "is this LOVE?" Sounds like the title for an 80s power ballad....in fact it WAS an 80s powerballad.
If retro 80s rock was indeed her intent, I think the photos are really successful at getting that accross.
