To me the best thing would be to get them chronologically. I started off with I am... and LOVEppears since those are my favorite albums, but then again I had already heard all the others. MY STORY IMO is a good album too, and so is Memorial address. It really depends on what your favorite Ayu style is though. Do you rock, electronic, or pop? Or maybe a little of each?
