歌手ＹＵＫＩの愛児が１歳１１カ月で突然死
元ＪＵＤＹ ＡＮＤ ＭＡＲＹのボーカルで、現在ソロ歌手のＹＵＫＩ（３３）の第１子である男児（１つ） が、今月上旬に亡くなっていたことが１７日、分かった。夫で真心ブラザーズのボーカル、ＹＯ－ＫＩＮＧ（３ ７）と連名でお互いのホームページ上で発表した。
ＹＵＫＩは直筆で「こんにちは。今日は、かなしいお知らせをしなければなりません。先日、私たちの息子が 、安らかな永い眠りに就きました」と書き始め、「いつも通りに元気に過ごし、いつも通りきげん良く、いつも 通り、『おやすみ』と言ったままの突然の別れでした」と悲しみをこらえながら綴っている。
関係者によると、３月上旬の朝、自宅で亡くなっていたという。乳幼児突然死症候群（ＳＩＤＳ）とみられる 。ほとんどの場合、睡眠中に起こるとされ、日本では乳児の約４０００人に１人の割合で発生。乳児の死亡原因 の２位。平成元年には大相撲・千代の富士＝現九重親方＝の三女が同症候群で亡くなっている。
別の関係者の話では、２人は愛息の死を信じることが出来ずに気が動転していたが、最近ようやく落ち着きを 取り戻しているという。２人は１２年９月３０日に電撃入籍。１５年４月１８日に愛息が生まれて いた。
「１年と１１カ月の間、私たち３人は本当に幸せでした。（中略）彼の分までしっかりと生きていこうと思い ます」と締めくくっている。
ＹＵＫＩは、２５日の埼玉・三郷市文化会館から始まる全国ツアーを予定通り敢行。ＹＯ－ＫＩＮＧは２４日 から行う予定だったツアー「春祭り三本勝負！」を中止した。
