ok , that just makes things even weirder since I doubt album doesn't even need to sell huge amounts to make up for the production costs. even if the label thinks the album is not gonna sell you'd think they'd still release a small enough patch of cds which profits would cover the production costs , I think that's usually how they'd handle situtations like this. and then press more albums if it happens to sell well
