Everyone's replies are so interesting! I am not exposed to that much Korean, but I can tell it apart from Japanese and Chinese - If you watch a lot of things in any two of those three languages than you can learn to distinguish between them.
However, when it comes to sound, Korean is very flowing, it's almost as if you can't distinguish where one word ends. Korean seems like a fun language to learn how to write and speak in, so I definetly want to learn how to speak and write Korean. As for Japanese - I think it's a beautiful language. But I think most of all you need to be exposed to both japanese and korean to be able to easily tell which words belong in which language.
