Seems like a case of "the grass is greener" to me. It's so easy for everyone to say, "Leave Avex and switch companies." It's so much more complicated than that. Other companies read the same good and bad news (probably more) that we see in this forum, and there would be some hesitation over taking in a "diva" even if there's big monetary gain. In the industry, a little rumor goes a long way, especially if insiders know that it's true.
