She's generally photographed and filmed from her left side (seriously, watch a few videos and just flip through them quickly) so presumably she does it on purpose. However for most of her performances I've seen where she has a flower in her hair, it's in the left side, only exception I know of is her Fly High performance on Hey Hey Hey 00.04.03 (that's what the file was labeled).
