The first time I heard Hamasaki's "HEAVEN," I got chills.
Of course the lyrics Hamasaki wrote after reading the script herself and getting to see the footage in editing were the message she wanted to express most to the audience. The only outcome that two companions in love could arrive at within their fate to not escape a massacre... Accepting their own true actions, and never regretting one another...
Wow, you've just really got to see the movie "SHINOBI," the reality of their hearts on the other side of the final battle, and also the shape of Oboro and Gennosuke's pierced "love"...
And the one more last scene at the end of the movie, when the theme song "HEAVEN" starts playing...
After "Fated to love eachother. Fated to kill eachother," I think you'll feel "this love won't end."
And that is the message I most wanted to put in the film to make it complete.
